Sister Sunday

We had the longest busiest day ever yesterday! funeral
Our sorority had a philanthropy and we needed to be there before noon with our dishes for the event.
Both of us made food, I (Jeanine) had bowtie pasta, which was delicious, and I (Gabbie) had brownies, which were also delicious but had someone else bake them. 🙂
There were sisters there that we hadn’t seen in such a long time. It was so much fun and we ate way too much! It was nice being back with everyone that we hadn’t seen since graduation. The event was a huge success! There were tons of people and the food was great. We are so glad that so much money was raised for such good organizations (Starkey Hearing Foundation, House Ear Institute and The Painted Turtle Camp).

After the event we went home and tried to relax for a bit before we had to go to our sorority sisters mothers wake.
It was so sad. Our sister was being very strong at a very difficult time. We believe she felt better to have the support of all her friends and family and sisters and brothers there. We were glad we were able to go and show support and comfort. Going to things like that really help you see what is important and how much you need your family.

So. Make sure you tell your family and friends and all your loved ones how much you love them everyday.
